30-day cleaning challenge-day 15

Hello everybody! Wow – halfway. How are you all holding up? Good, I hope. Leave me a comment and let me know.

If you’ve just joined us, you can still follow along with our 30 day challenge. Click here to begin.

Today’s task is:

Surface clean living room and kitchen

My kitchen was a bit of a disaster area this morning. Hubby very kindly cooked dinner last night, but sometimes I wonder if it’s worth the clean-up afterwards. He made very delicious Spaghetti Bolognaise but I confess I was too tired to do a proper clean-up of it all. This was a mistake! This morning I was faced with tomato sauce splatter all over the stove top and surrounding area, and pots and pans in various stages of food hardening. Uuugh. I had to scrub extra hard to get it all off. So, my ‘surface’ cleaning of the kitchen took a little longer.

On top of this, my cats had knocked over a plastic container in the living room that had the remnants of chips in it. The result? Chip crumbs all over the floor! Grrrr.

Sleep is overrated

We’ve already had this one a couple of times, so I’m not going to bore you all with yet another post about how I surface-cleaned my living room and kitchen. To see the last post on this, click here. But, I will post pictures of the end result of my extra efforts.
