Hello again. Well, it’s finally warmed up here and stopped raining! :). So this week we’re having some favourites from The Looneyspoons Collection, including some dishes we can grill on the barbecue 🙂
A meal plan is a great way to save money at the grocery store and solves the daily question “what’s for dinner?” It also save loads of time in the evenings after work. My favourite part. I use a Google spread sheet for my menu plans, but you can use whatever you feel comfortable with or what works for you – a simple notebook, a scrap of paper tacked to the fridge, or you can find some meal-planning notebooks here.
Monday: Grilled Sirloin Steak with an Asian Marinade, Warm Mini-Potato Salad with Bacon & Dill, Greek Salad, Spinach Salad
Tuesday: Colourful Vegetable Pizza with Pesto and Feta
Wednesday: Spinach & Cheese Cannelloni with Roasted Tomato Sauce, Green Salad, Garlic Bread
Thursday: Braised Balsamic Chicken with Wild Mushroom Sauce, Sauteed Green Peas with Green Onions & Mint, Roasted Sweet Potatoes with a hint of Apple and Ginger
Friday: Grilled Salmon in an Orange-ginger Marinade, Rice Salad with Cantaloupe, Cucumber and Cilantro in a Zesty Lime Dressing (to die for!), Lightened-up Caesar Salad
Saturday: Spice Pork Tenderloin Gumbo with Tomatoes, Mushrooms and Sweet Potatoes, Rice
Sunday: Grilled Meatball and Pineapple Kebobs with Sesame-Ginger Barbecue Sauce, various salads
