Well, I’m still not sure if I’ve lost any weight. Our new scale arrived last week, but I guess I’ll have to wait a week until I know for sure. I’m certain I haven’t gained anything, as my clothes haven’t got any tighter! 🙂
When I made the Balsamic Roast Veggie & White Bean Pasta, I discovered that the raw vegetables and dressing made an amazing salad. I added some lettuce and cooked chicken to it and took it to work for lunch! It was delicious and filling also.
I’m still struggling with cutting down on the sweet snacks, but it’s getting better and I’m resisting them more easily now, and cutting down on sugar in my tea and coffee without noticing it too much. I’ve taken to chewing sugarless gum! Something I did when I quit smoking also.
As mentioned in previous posts, I usually have a smoothie every day for breakfast, but hubby doesn’t love them as much as I do, so I’m always on the look out for “skinny” breakfasts for him. I found a delicious Sausage, Cheese & Veggie Egg Bake on Skinny Taste which looks like will keep for a few days and can be packed up to take to work also. Here’s a picture – looks pretty good, don’t you think?
