HellOooo. Well, the warm-ish weather didn’t last very long and I’ve been getting my exercise mainly from shoveling snow! 🙄 Hubby devoured all his frozen meals with gusto and requested more of the same, so this time I made Unstuffed Cabbage Bowls and Easy Turkey Lasagna Soup (except I used ground beef)
I decided to try another cookie recipe. I must confess that I am a much better cook than I am a baker. As a result, I haven’t baked for quite a few years, and my first attempt at Jamie Oliver’s cookies – which were supposed to look like this
turned out like this 🤣
I added way too much butter. Still, they tasted really good. Determined to get better at it, my second attempt turned out much improved, and this was the batch that hubby took with him.
Hubby made his own breakfasts this time – a sort of scrambled egg hash with bacon, Italian sausage, green peppers, hash browns and cheese all mixed together in a frying pan and then put into individual bags. The end result looked something like this but not as pretty.
I added to this with Healthy Yogurt Oat Blueberry Breakfast Cake
After the failed cookie debacle, he helped me wash the dishes too!
This week, I took all my meal ideas from Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution cook book

Yes, he can be very helpful when he wants to be. He’s taken over the cookie baking.
