Hello everyone. Well, I’m relived and delighted to say that the small changes made to our snacking habits has worked! I haven’t had a sugar craving since my last post two week ago! You can’t believe how grateful I am for that. And I’ve lost another 3 lbs!
To be quite honest, I’m not a fan of spending my whole day cooking and preparing snacks, so I picked two snacks that we really like – a coffee protein shake made with coffee, almond milk and a scoop of protein powder, and the Peanut Butter Energy Bites. These two eliminate my cravings beautifully.
For breakfast, we’ve been having either a smoothie or poached or boiled eggs on toast with some avocado and/or tomatoes and a piece of toast, and lunches are usually last night’s leftovers. I’ve upped my water intake quite a bit. I wasn’t a huge water drinker before, so it’s been a bit of an effort to remember, but I’m up to about 6 glasses a day which has helped with bloating.
It’s Thanksgiving on Monday here in Canada, so I’m looking forward to a delicious feast with family.
