Why Should Everyone Have a Meal Plan?
Meal planning is a great way to organize your meals for the week ahead. You also save time and money in the supermarket! And of course, planning ahead helps you stick to your goals!
Last week I lost another 2 lbs despite the huge Thanksgiving dinner. We’ve been sticking to our protein snacks with no cravings! This is HUGE for me as I am a complete chocoholic. I haven’t had chocolate, ice cream or any other type of sweets or candy in a month.
Quite a few vegetarian meals next week, but also quite a bit of pasta (we luuurve Italian food):
Sunday : Roast Pork, minted peas, carrots, sweet potatoes
Monday : Cacio E Pepe – a really simple dish which is basically cheese, pepper and spaghetti. Sounds bland, but it’s absolutely delish!
Tuesday : Italian ham (leftover pork roast from Sunday), eggs and sweet potato fries
Wednesday : Trapani-style Rigatoni, Green salad
Thursday : Hardley Any Prep Shrimp Stirfy
Friday : Broccoli and Pesto Tagliatelle
Saturday : Salina Chicken, Couscous, Cocoa Rum Dessert (from Jamie Oliver’s book Jamie’s Italy
All enjoyed with a lovely glass of red wine!
