All went to hell in a handbasket on Saturday due to celebrating my birthday. We had some errands to run and came across a British Restaurant called Winston’s where we ordered several glasses of wine and beer and haddock fish and chips, followed by sticky toffee pudding. We could barely move after it all.
Fortunately, we still had all our errands to run which gave me an opportunity to walk it all off – 4,211 steps in all.
Back at home, we continued the celebrations with a couple of glasses of vodka at around 5pm and then a bottle of red wine over pizza for supper!
I didn’t DARE weigh myself the next day, and attempted to climb back on the wagon with my chocolate protein shake for breakfast, a salad for lunch and leftover pizza for supper, but my son and daughter-in-law dropped by with my present and these
How could I resist?
Back on track on Monday, but I didn’t have the courage to weight myself until Thursday – 171.4 – Yikes!!
But I’m not discouraged since I didn’t this to myself. Yoga which is becoming easier and easier. I’m managing to do about 30 seconds of planking, and keeping my balance with most of the other poses, and the weather is still warm enough to walk every other day.
Protein shake again every day for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and a regular-type supper from my meal plan. You can see that here. After supper, I’ve been having a yogurt, or 1/2 a cup of chocolate gelato and don’t forget the vodka and club soda!
Friday’s weigh in was 170.4! Yessss
