Today’s task is cleaning stuff that I hardly ever think of. In fact, I did a post on this some time ago.
Door knobs, phones, entertainment equipment, remote controls, switch plates, banisters and other things that are repeatedly touched.
Door knobs are constantly being touched by everyone and should be cleaned at least once a week to avoid picking up germs from others.
Phones are something that get neglected a lot in my household. A good wipe with disinfectant wipes does the trick.
Entertainment equipment needs to be cleaned regularly if you want it to last a awhile. And don’t forget the remote controls that get sticky from our hands (not to mention the germs!)
Our banisters are white. When I ran a disinfectant wipe over them, it came away black! Horrors!
Switchplates also get overlooked
There are so many little things – stove knobs, dish sponge, drying rack … for more overlooked items, click here.
See you tomorrow! I’m off for a glass of wine with a friend 🙂
